Claudius Maximus is visiting schools in Cornwall Devon and Bristol this term. Despite the weather young recruits have persevered to master the rigors of Roman military discipline. Claudius Maximus is seen at St Bonaventure's RC Primary School in Bristol which he has visited for the 5th year in succession. Staff and pupils like to participate as fully as possible with everyone sporting armour and shields which they have made Helen Brooks Teacher Year 3 says "The children are asked to say what has been a highlight of the year and it is always the Roman workshop which tops the list!"
